A New Challenge
So this weekend a new challenge was brought upon me. My mother has a somewhat medium collection of old Vinyls from her childhood. She purchased a Memorex USB Turntable to try and turn her entire collection into the digital form! Now here’s the thing, she knows computers only to the level of what she uses at work. Which is Word, Excel (Very knowledgeable) E-mail, and limited media burning and what not. So she entrusted me in doing the digitizing. Making them all MP3′s. To begin with the whole process, I used Audacity on her Mac Book Pro and it worked out well. But being that I’ve used windows since Windows 98, working on the mac was a bit of a challenge. But after a few trial and errors, I managed to get at least one whole record in. I think I’m going to just continue the process over on my windows machine. Let’s see how that goes.
